UNITN is a young and dynamic university with 16.000 students. In the World University Ranking 2016-2017 by the Times Higher Education magazine, UNITN has been ranked in the 201-250 group and, in the QS World University Rankings 2018, UNITN has been ranked in the 9th position among the 29 Italian Universities assessed in the 441-450 group. UNITN will be involved in the project through the ELEDIA Research Center at the Dept. of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI). ELEDIA addresses research activities in the framework of advanced engineering and science with main focus on the analysis, synthesis and design of advanced systems, architectures, techniques and devices for communications, sensing, localization and power transfer as applied to information transmission, energy, and biomedicine.

UNITN ensures all the infrastructures and resources required for the development of the project activities within the facilities of the University, including offices, library, lecture rooms, IT rooms an IT laboratories with computational resources for software development and testing.
