Francesca Vipiana
Prof. Francesca Vipiana is part of the Antenna and Electromagnetic Compatibility (LACE) lab. Her main research activities concern numerical techniques based on the Integral Equations, Method of Moments approaches, analysis and synthesis of multi-band reconfigurable compact antennas, and modeling and design of microwave imaging systems for medical applications. She is part of the Board of Ph.D. advisors at POLITO, and from 2007 she has given several invited lectures in the Ph.D. course on “Advanced Computational EM for antenna analysis”, European School of Antennas, and she has been the teaching professor of the course “Advanced computational EM for antenna analysis and design”, Ph.D. program in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at POLITO.
