Mengchu Wang

Mengchu Wang is a Ph.D. student at the CNR-IREA under the supervision of Dr. Lorenzo Crocco, and enrolled as a Ph.D. student of Sapienza University of Rome supervised by Prof. Marta Cavagnaro. She received her B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2011 and M.Sc. degree in Delft University of Science and Technology in 2015. Her master thesis is the design of a novel Ultra-wideband Omnidirectional Discone Antenna for WLAN Applications.

From 2011 to 2012 she was a researcher assistant at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. From 2016 to 2018 she worked as RF antenna engineer in industry. Besides research and development activities, she also had the experience of collaboration projects with several universities and institutions from different countries. Currently, her research topic is EM device design for the microwave-guided medical imaging system.
