Marta Cavagnaro
Prof. Marta Cavagnaro, Associate Professor at DIET. Her research activity is mainly devoted to dosimetric aspects of the interaction between EM fields and biological systems, with reference to both regulatory aspects and medical applications. Her interests include numerical methods for solving Maxwell's equations, evaluation of power absorption and temperature increase in subjects under different exposed conditions, EM fields measurement techniques, interstitial techniques for therapeutic use of microwave energy, and UWB radars for the monitoring of cardio-respiratory activity. She is a member of the Board of ICT doctoral course of Sapienza University of Rome.
